Paribu presents the verification methods set on your account as required steps in order; you are not shown a selection screen, and the next method opens automatically.
Whichever methods are set on your account are all verified in order. Login is not completed if a step is missing.
When you log in from a browser or device you have not used before, an additional verification step opens. A device confirmation link is sent to your registered email address; when you click the link in the email, the screen on the browser automatically completes the verification and login continues from where it left off.
Note: If the device confirmation email does not arrive, check the spam or junk folder. You can also click the link from a different device; verification is automatically completed in the browser where the session was started.
If you do not remember your password, you can reset it by clicking the Forgot password link on the login page.
Warning: After the password is reset, your account is closed to crypto asset withdrawals for 48 hours as a security measure.
Click the Forgot password link on the login page, enter your registered phone number and email address, then complete the verification codes to set a new password. After the password is reset, your account is closed to crypto asset withdrawals for 48 hours as a security measure. For details, see Forgot password, what should I do?.
For SMS authentication, make sure your phone can receive SMS messages and that your inbox is not full. After the 300-second period ends, you can request a new code with the Resend option. For email authentication, check your spam or junk folder. If the issue persists, see SMS verification code is not arriving.
During login, an information screen about your account status is shown. Depending on the reason your account is locked or frozen, you can start the live support chat through Paribu Support to reach the support team. For details, see My account is locked.
If your browser's verification window returns an error, an information screen opens; you can restart WebAuthn verification with the Try again option. If the issue persists, switch to an alternative method to continue login with 2FA, SMS, or email verification. For details, see Cannot create passkey.
Your session may be ended automatically when the same account is used to log in from another device, or for security reasons. In that case, you can start a new session by logging in to Paribu.com again.
