On Paribu, a one-time SMS authentication code is sent to the phone number registered to your account during login, 2FA setup, and operations that require security. If you cannot receive this code, signal status, SIM card settings, or carrier filters may be the cause.
If your Paribu SMS authentication code does not arrive, check your phone's signal status, review your SMS filtering settings, and request a new code via the Resend option. If you are abroad, make sure your line has international roaming enabled.
If you are in Türkiye and cannot receive the SMS code, apply the following checks in order:
Temporary technical issues at your carrier may also affect SMS delivery. If the steps above do not resolve the issue, wait a few minutes and try again. You can find which sender numbers Paribu authentication codes are delivered from in the frequently asked questions section.
If you are abroad and cannot receive the SMS code, check whether your line has international roaming enabled. If roaming is off, you cannot receive SMS abroad.
Note: During long stays abroad, you can reduce dependence on SMS by enabling 2-step authentication (2FA). After 2FA setup, a Google Authenticator code is used instead of SMS for login and security operations
Security authentication on Paribu follows a tiered order. If 2-step authentication (2FA) or a passkey is enabled, these methods are used instead of SMS for most operations:
To reduce dependence on SMS codes, you can review the 2 adımlı kimlik doğrulama (2FA) nasıl kurulur? or Geçiş anahtarı (Passkey) nedir? articles for alternative methods.
If you still cannot receive an SMS code despite applying the steps above, start a live support chat through Paribu Support and report your situation. To allow your request to be resolved quickly, it is recommended to share your registered phone number, your GSM carrier, and, if abroad, the country you are in.
Paribu SMS authentication codes are sent from the sender codes B002, B016, B021, and B040. Messages from numbers other than these that ask for a Paribu authentication code may be fraudulent.
A 120-second countdown starts after the first code is sent on the verification screen. You cannot request a new code before this period ends. When the countdown is complete, the Resend option becomes active.
During 2FA setup, an SMS code is requested in the first authentication step for security purposes. After 2FA is set up, a Google Authenticator code is used instead of SMS for login and security operations. SMS may also be requested as additional authentication for some exceptional security operations.
You can register on Paribu with different country codes during account creation, and SMS is sent to that number. However, financial transactions can only be performed on accounts created with a +90 Türkiye phone number.
