How to create and manage a passkey

May 4, 2026

By adding a passkey to your Paribu account, you can complete sign-in and action approvals quickly and securely with biometric authentication (Face ID, fingerprint). You can create a passkey on both the Paribu app and the web.

How is a passkey created?

To create a passkey on Paribu web, go to the passkeys section in security settings and click the Create passkey button. Your browser automatically presents the verification options; you can create your passkey by completing verification with biometrics, a security key, or another method.

Before you start

  • Make sure your browser and operating system support passkeys (WebAuthn)

Frequently asked questions

Can I sign in with my password after creating a passkey?

Yes, a passkey does not replace your existing sign-in methods, but is added as an additional option. You can continue signing in with password and 2FA.

Will my account be affected if I delete my passkey?

No, deleting a passkey does not affect your account. You can continue signing in with password and 2FA. However, your security level may drop from High.
