By adding a passkey to your Paribu account, you can complete sign-in and action approvals quickly and securely with biometric authentication (Face ID, fingerprint). You can create a passkey on both the Paribu app and the web.
To create a passkey on Paribu web, go to the passkeys section in security settings and click the Create passkey button. Your browser automatically presents the verification options; you can create your passkey by completing verification with biometrics, a security key, or another method.
Note: You can create only one passkey per device. If you try to create a second passkey on the same device, the warning "You already have a passkey for this device" is shown.
You can view, rename, or delete your created passkeys from the Passkeys section in security settings.
If you encounter an issue while creating or using a passkey, you can review the Cannot create a passkey article.
Yes, a passkey does not replace your existing sign-in methods, but is added as an additional option. You can continue signing in with password and 2FA.
No, deleting a passkey does not affect your account. You can continue signing in with password and 2FA. However, your security level may drop from High.
If you have created passkeys on more than one device, giving each a descriptive name (e.g., "iPhone 15", "MacBook") makes management easier.
