When the balance of an asset is not visible on Paribu or appears different than you expect, the cause is usually the hide options in the interface or the locked portion of the balance due to reasons such as open orders, staking, and transfers. In this article, you can review the reasons for missing or reduced balances and how to check them.
On Paribu, the balance of an asset may not be visible on the screen when the Hide low balances filter or the general balance hide icon is enabled. If your total balance is less than you expect, part of your asset may be locked due to open orders, staked amount, or a transfer process. You can see the available and locked balance breakdown on the asset detail screen.
Two interface settings affect balance visibility on the Paribu app. If a balance is not visible in the list, check these settings first.
****. Tap the eye icon again to make them visibleHiding balances only affects the display; your amounts are recorded in full in the system and continue to apply to your transactions.
The balance is displayed in two main types on the Paribu app. The asset list on the home screen shows only the Available amount with the approximate TRY equivalent; you need to go to the asset detail to see the locked portion.
If part of your asset is locked, your available balance appears lower than expected. This does not mean the balance has been lost; when the condition is removed (when an order is filled, cancelled, a transfer is completed, or the staking period ends), it returns to your available balance.
A locked balance can result from three different reasons. When you tap the locked amount on the asset detail screen, the amount for each reason is listed on separate rows on the screen that opens:
In addition, the amount in the 72-hour withdrawal waiting period applied before your first crypto withdrawal, or the 48-hour period after each subsequent purchase or deposit, is also kept closed to withdrawal during that time; you can see the remaining countdown on the relevant asset's detail screen.
Note: A 72-hour crypto withdrawal waiting period applies before your first crypto withdrawal, and a 48-hour period applies after each subsequent purchase or deposit. When this period ends, the relevant amount automatically becomes available for withdrawal
To see the available and locked amounts of an asset separately, go to the asset detail screen.
The balance update after a transaction usually occurs within seconds. If your balance has not updated as you expect, the wait reasons differ by transaction type:
Pulling down to refresh the screen and closing and reopening the app resolves most synchronisation delays.
Warning: After a password or email change, crypto asset withdrawal cannot be performed for 48 hours. During this period, even if your available crypto balance appears on the screen, you are blocked on the withdrawal screen. The restriction is automatically removed when the period ends
If your balance still does not appear as you expect after refreshing the screen and restarting the app:
The asset list on the home screen offers a simplified view and shows only the available amount and total value. To see the locked balance breakdown, tap the relevant asset to open the detail screen; when you tap the Locked amount field, the breakdown across the three subcategories opens.
No. Hide low balances is only a visual filter; it does not delete or change your balances. When you turn the toggle off or find the relevant asset by searching, all balances are displayed again. If you want to convert small assets to TRY, you can use the dust conversion feature.
For 72-hour or 48-hour waiting periods, the relevant amount automatically becomes available for withdrawal when the period ends. Balances pending due to a Travel Rule check are released when the check is completed. You can track the end of the period from the countdown on the asset detail.
The staked asset remains locked under the Staked subcategory of the locked balance throughout the staking period and cannot be used in trading or withdrawal. When you cancel staking (if conditions allow), the asset returns to your available balance; estimated rewards may not be realised in case of cancellation.
Crypto transfers are not reflected in your Paribu account until they reach the required confirmation count on the network. The confirmation time varies by asset and network. If you confirm via a block explorer (e.g. Etherscan, Blockstream) that the transfer has been completed on the network but it is not reflected in your account, you can view the Kripto yatırdım ama hesabımda görünmüyor article or contact Paribu Support.
