Why is my balance not visible?
When the balance of an asset is not visible or looks different from what you expected, the reason is usually the hiding options in the interface or the blocked part of the balance. In this article you can find where and how the balance is shown and the reasons a blocked amount is waiting.
Why is my balance not visible?
The balance of an asset may not appear in the list while the Hide low balances filter or the balance hiding option is enabled. If your balance looks lower than you expected, part of your asset may be blocked because of an open order, staking, a transfer process, or Travel Rule checks. You can see the split between available and blocked on the asset detail screen.
Which amount is shown in the asset list?
In the asset list on the Wallet screen, each row shows your total balance and its approximate TRY value; the split between available and blocked is not shown in this list. To see the split you need to go to the asset detail.
Note: Part of the amount you see in the list may be blocked. For this reason, the amount you can use when you try to make a transaction may be lower than what you see in the list
How do I check the balance display settings?
If your balance is not visible in the list at all, check two settings:
- Hide low balances: While this option is on, assets below 5 TRY are hidden from the list. You can turn it off from the Low balance actions section
- Balance hiding: If you see dots or asterisks in place of the amounts, balance hiding is enabled; you can make the amounts visible again by tapping the relevant eye icon
What are available and blocked balance?
The balance card on the asset detail screen shows three pieces of information:
- Total value — the value of the entire asset
- Available balance — the amount you can use in buy, sell, transfer, and withdrawal transactions
- Blocked balance — the amount that is temporarily locked
For assets held in units (such as stocks and fan tokens) the same split is shown as Available quantity and Blocked quantity.
If part of your asset is blocked, your available balance looks lower. This does not mean the balance has disappeared; when the reason for the lock is removed, the amount returns to your available balance.
For which reasons is my blocked balance waiting?
When you tap the blocked balance information, the screen that opens explains the reason: "Blocked balance is the amount temporarily locked due to open orders, staking, transfer processes, or travel rule checks. This amount cannot be used until the related process completes."
On the same screen the transactions for which your blocked amount is locked are listed as a breakdown:

| Staked | The amount locked in order to earn yield |
| Transfers | The amount in ongoing deposit or withdrawal transactions |
| Locked | The amount waiting because of Travel Rule checks and similar reasons |
When the reason for the lock is removed — when the order is filled or canceled, when the transfer is completed, when the staking is unlocked — the amount returns to your available balance.
The split between withdrawable and non-withdrawable balance
When you tap the available balance information, you see the split between Withdrawable balance and Non-withdrawable balance. The description on the screen is as follows: "Available balance is the total amount you can use for transactions in your account. You can use it for buys, sells, transfers, and withdrawals. Non-withdrawable balance is the amount earned through gifts and campaigns. You can use it within the app, but you cannot withdraw it externally."
Warning: You can make transactions with the amount you earned through a campaign or a gift, but you cannot withdraw this amount externally during the campaign period
How can I view the balance detail?
- Tap the Wallet tab in the bottom navigation
- Tap the asset whose detail you want to see in the asset list
- On the detail screen that opens, view the Available balance and Blocked balance information
- Tap the blocked balance information to open the breakdown
The transaction I just made is not reflected in my balance
Depending on the type of transaction you made, the balance is updated at different times:
- Trading: Your balance is updated the moment the order is filled. If your order is waiting open, the amount remains blocked under Open orders
- Crypto deposit: The amount does not reach your account until the network confirmations are complete
- Crypto withdrawal: While the withdrawal is in progress, the amount appears blocked under Transfers
- Staking: The amount you staked moves under Staked; when you unlock it, it returns to your available balance
Tip: You can follow your pending transactions from the Transactions screen
What can I do if the issue persists?
If your balance is not explained by any of the reasons above, you can start the live support chat through Paribu Support. To allow your request to be resolved quickly, it is recommended to share the name of the asset, the amount you expected, and the date of your most recent transaction.
Frequently asked questions
When is my blocked balance released?
It depends on the reason for the lock. For an open order the amount becomes available when the order is filled or canceled, for a transfer when the transaction is completed, and for staking when the staking is unlocked.
I canceled my order but my balance was not updated
After a cancellation the amount returns to your available balance shortly. If it is not visible, pull the screen down to refresh it.
My asset is not visible in the list at all, could it have been deleted?
No. If your balance is below 5 TRY, it may have been hidden from the list because of the Hide low balances option. When you turn the option off, the asset becomes visible again.
How can I use my non-withdrawable balance?
You can trade within the app with an amount that comes from a campaign or a gift; you cannot withdraw this amount out of your account during the campaign period. For the rules, see the What is the gift balance in my account and how can I use it? article.
Can I combine my small balances?
You can convert your crypto assets with low balances into TRY. You can use the Convert low balances option for this.
