A fee is taken on each trade you make on Paribu, determined by your order type and your 30-day trading volume. The fee is split into two types: maker, which adds an order to the order book, and taker, which immediately hits an existing order.
The maker fee is the rate applied when you add a new order to the order book. The taker fee is applied when you immediately hit an existing order pending in the order book. The maker rate is lower than the taker rate because you add liquidity to the order book.
Note: Trades placed in the easy view and market orders are always executed at the taker rate.
The fee rates decrease across 8 tiers based on your 30-day TRY-denominated buy/sell volume. By default, you start at tier 1; as your volume increases, you move up to the next tier. The table below shows the maker and taker rates at each tier for TRY pairs.
| Tier | Maker | Taker | 30-day buy/sell volume (TRY) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0.12% | 0.28% | 0 – 1 million |
| 2 | 0.11% | 0.24% | 1 million – 10 million |
| 3 | 0.1% | 0.22% | 10 million – 50 million |
| 4 | 0.08% | 0.18% | 50 million – 100 million |
| 5 | 0.06% | 0.16% | 100 million – 500 million |
| 6 | 0.04% | 0.14% | 500 million – 1 billion |
| 7 | 0.02% | 0.12% | 1 billion – 2.5 billion |
| 8 | 0.01% | 0.1% | 2.5 billion and above |
Your tier is calculated over a 30-day rolling window. When your total buy/sell volume in the last 30 days reaches the threshold of the next tier, your fee rates are updated automatically.
Note: The tiered table above applies only to TRY pairs. For USDT pairs, the fee is independent of your tier; it is fixed at a maker rate of 0.01% and a taker rate of 0.1% across all levels.
The fee is calculated as a percentage on your trade amount and is taken automatically at the time of the trade. When you enter the amount in the Buy/Sell form, an Estimated fee field appears on the screen and shows your approximate fee in advance. When the trade is filled, the exact fee amount is reflected in the trade detail.
Note: When a tier 1 user places a market order of TRY 10,000, a fee of approximately TRY 28 is taken at the taker rate (0.28%). For a limit order of the same amount added to the order book, the maker rate (0.12%) applies and the fee is approximately TRY 12.
For partially filled orders, the fee is taken only on the filled portion; no fee is applied to the cancelled or pending portion.
The table above shows the standard fee rates. If your Loyalty level is Green+ or above, an additional discount is applied on top of the taker rate of your current tier. The discount rate applied based on your Loyalty level is shown as a tag on the fee rates screen (for example, "5% Green+ discount").
Additional discount for Turkish lira pairs:
| Loyalty level | Additional discount |
|---|---|
| Green | — |
| Green+ | 5% |
| Black | 10% |
| Black+ | 15% |
Additional discount for USDT pairs:
| Loyalty level | Additional discount |
|---|---|
| Green | — |
| Green+ | 15% |
| Black | 20% |
| Black+ | 25% |
Note: For a tier 1 user at the Black level, the taker rate on TRY pairs is applied as 0.252% with a 10% discount instead of the standard 0.28%. On USDT pairs, since the base taker rate is 0.1%, the same user trades at 0.08% with a 20% discount.
Your crypto year plays a role as a requirement for moving to Green+ and above; when you meet the criteria, the additional discounts of the relevant level are applied. If your crypto year is not enough for the next level, you can increase your crypto year by documenting your experience on different crypto platforms. For details on Loyalty levels, requirements, sector experience proof and all benefits, see the Loyalty levels and benefits article.
You can view your personal current rates in the app.
At the top of the fee rates screen, your current tier and your maker and taker rates are shown. If a discount is applied based on your Loyalty level, the discounted rate and the discount tag (for example, "5% Green+ discount") appear in this area. The progress bar below shows your 30-day trading volume and the volume needed to reach the next tier. At the bottom of the screen, the 8-tier standard fee table is listed and your current tier is highlighted.
The maker fee is applied on orders that add an offer to the order book — that is, orders that provide liquidity — and is lower. The taker fee is applied on orders that immediately hit an existing order in the order book and consume liquidity, and is higher.
The taker fee rate is always applied to market orders. A market order is treated as taker because it matches instantly with existing orders in the order book.
For a limit order, what determines the rate is whether the order is placed on hold in the order book. If your order is added to the order book and matches later, it is processed at the maker rate; if it finds an order on the other side that can be filled immediately and matches instantly, the taker rate applies.
In buy orders, the fee is deducted from the asset you receive; in sell orders, it is deducted from the incoming TRY amount. For example, on a TRY 10,000 BTC buy, the fee is deducted from the BTC amount; on a TRY 10,000 BTC sell, it is deducted from the incoming TRY amount.
Your tier is updated automatically based on your 30-day trading volume. When your total buy/sell volume within the last 30 days exceeds the threshold of the next tier, the new tier's rates apply to your following trades.
