You can update the phone number registered to your Paribu account from the Personal information screen inside the app. For your security, the change is completed with identity verification.
If your phone number stayed the same, you do not need to do anything. Your Paribu account is tied to your number; changing your operator (number porting), replacing your SIM card, or switching to an eSIM does not change your number, so the details registered to your account stay as they are and your 2-step authentication codes continue to arrive at the same number.
The update steps in this article apply only when the number itself changes. If your number has not changed, you do not need to make an update on the Personal information screen.
If SMS verification codes do not arrive after an operator or SIM change, this is not an account information issue but an SMS delivery issue. For solution steps, see the SMS authentication code not received article.
To change your phone number, go to My account > Account and settings > Personal information, tap the Edit phone option next to your phone number, and enter your new number. You then verify your identity; your request is taken into review and the result is sent to you within the app.
Follow these steps to change your number:
Info: Identity verification is completed automatically through the app using your ID document and a face check. You do not need to upload or send any separate documents.
Once verification is complete, 2-step authentication codes and account security notifications begin to be sent to your new number.
Warning: For your security, crypto asset withdrawals are unavailable for 48 hours after a phone number change.
If you can no longer access your registered phone number (for example, you have lost your line or SIM card), you can update your number without signing in. To do this, use the I cannot access my contact information link in the Forgot password flow on the sign-in screen to verify your identity and set your new number.
Follow these steps if you cannot access your number:
This flow first sends a code to the registered channel you can still access, then to your new number, to confirm that the account really belongs to you. Once identity verification is complete, your number is updated.
No. In number porting, only your operator changes; your phone number stays the same. Since your Paribu account is tied to your number, you do not need to make any update; 2-step authentication codes and security notifications continue to arrive at the same number.
After you enter your new number and complete identity verification, your request is taken into review. Once the review is complete, the result is sent to you within the app. The processing time may vary depending on the security review workload.
The phone number registered on Paribu must be a mobile phone number starting with the Türkiye (+90) area code. Since SMS-based 2-step authentication and security notifications do not work with a foreign number, foreign numbers are not accepted for the change.
SMS-based 2-step authentication is automatically transferred to the updated number. Application-based 2-step authentication methods such as Google Authenticator or passkey are not affected by the change; you can continue to use them in the same way.
Make sure your new phone number belongs only to you and that you will continue to use it for a long time. A number that belongs to someone else or is temporary can prevent 2-step authentication and security notifications from reaching you, putting your account security at risk.
