By setting price alerts on Paribu, you can monitor market movements 24/7 with notifications for the assets you follow. When the price of the asset you have set an alert for reaches the level you specified, Paribu sends you a notification.
What is a price alert?
A price alert is a feature that notifies you when the price of an asset you follow reaches a target you have set. You can set alerts for all crypto assets listed on Paribu. You can assign a One-time, Hourly, or Continuous notification frequency to each alert.
How to set up an alert
You can set up an alert in two ways: by selecting an asset from the Alerts screen or directly from the asset detail screen. Both paths lead to the same alert creation screen.
From the Alerts screen
- From the My account section you open via the menu icon at the top left of the screen, navigate to Alerts
- Tap the Set alert button at the bottom of the screen
- Choose the asset for which you want to set an alert from the asset selection screen
- Enter the target price, frequency, and other details, then tap the Save alert button
From the asset detail screen
- Open the market detail screen of the asset you want to set an alert for
- Tap the Set alert button under the Alerts section
- Set the target price and frequency on the screen that opens
- Tap the Save alert button
Entering the target price
You can set the target price in two ways on the alert creation screen:
- Price entry: Type the price at which you want the alert to trigger directly into the large input field at the top of the screen. As you type, the percentage difference relative to the current price is shown in real time.
- Percentage selector: Use the horizontal scroll ruler below the input field to select a target between −25% and +25% of the current price, in 0.5 increments. The target price is calculated automatically as you select.
Notification frequency
By tapping the frequency icon at the top of the screen, you can choose between three notification frequencies:
- One-time: You receive a single notification when the price reaches the level you set. After the notification is sent, the alert is automatically deleted.
- Hourly: As long as the price stays in the range you set, you receive at most one notification per hour.
- Continuous: You receive a notification each time the price reaches the target. In this mode, at most six notifications are sent per day.
Where can I manage my alerts?
All custom alerts you have set are listed under the My alerts section on the Alerts screen. Alerts are grouped by asset; when you open a group, you can see all the alerts you have set for that asset.
Each alert row contains the following information:
- Direction icon (↑/↓): Indicates whether the alert will trigger on a price increase or decrease
- Alert description: For example, "If the price drops by 12%" or "If the price reaches TRY 4,003,572"
- Frequency badge: The notification frequency of the alert
Deleting an alert
To delete an alert, swipe the relevant row to the left with your finger; tap the red trash bin icon that appears on the right to remove the alert.
Note: You cannot directly edit the price or frequency of an existing alert. To make changes, delete the alert and create a new one.
Alert history
You can review previously triggered alerts on the Alert history screen. Access the past alerts screen via the Alert history button at the bottom of the Alerts screen. The history is presented as a timeline grouped by date; each card shows the price at the moment the alert was triggered and the related asset. If you have no triggered alerts yet, the screen displays the message "Triggered alerts will appear here."
System alerts
In addition to the custom alerts you set, Paribu also provides system alerts for general market movements. You can toggle these alerts on or off on the Alerts screen:
- Sudden price movement: When the value of any crypto asset on the market changes by a certain threshold
- Favourites: When the price of a crypto asset you have added to favourites changes by a certain threshold
- Fan: When the price of any asset in the Fan category changes by a certain threshold
Alert limits and notification permissions
You can set up to 5 alerts for each asset. When the limit is reached and you try to set a new alert, the message "You can set a maximum of 5 alerts in total for each asset" is displayed; to add a new alert, you must delete one of the existing alerts you have set for that asset.
For alert notifications to reach you, the notification permissions on your device must be enabled. When notification permission is disabled, a warning is displayed on the Alerts screen; tap the button on the warning to open device permissions directly.
Warning: When notification permission is disabled, you do not receive notifications even if alerts are triggered; you can only see triggered alerts on the Alert history screen.

What happens when an alert triggers?
You receive a notification based on the frequency you set. Can I edit an alert?
Editing an existing alert is not supported. To change the target price or frequency, you must delete the alert and create a new one for the same asset.
What should I do if notifications do not arrive?
First, make sure your device's notification permissions are enabled. If notification permission is disabled, a warning banner appears on the Alerts screen; tap the button on it to go directly to device settings and enable permission.
