You can track crypto assets, DeFi products, and stock markets on Paribu from a single place via the Markets screen. The screen lets you switch between asset types with top tabs, and each tab brings together an asset list that can be narrowed by category filter, market sentiment indicators, upcoming listings, and asset search.
How to access the Markets screen
In the Paribu app, you can access market data from the Markets tab in the bottom navigation. You can view markets, prices, and charts without signing in to your account; however, you must create an account to trade and set alerts.
- Tap the Markets tab in the bottom navigation
- Select the list you want to review from the category filter at the top
- Tap one of the listed assets to view its details
Top market tabs
At the top of the Markets screen, you can switch between tabs separated by asset type:
- Crypto: All crypto assets traded on Paribu. This is the default view.
- DeFi: Decentralised finance products (shown with a New badge next to it).
- Stocks: BIST and US stock markets (shown with a coming soon badge next to it).
The top tabs appear only when the relevant features are enabled for your account; otherwise the screen stays directly in the Crypto view.
DeFi tab
On the DeFi tab, you can track decentralised finance products. Using the DEX (token swap) chip on the list header, you can narrow the view, and when signed in, you can see the DeFi assets you follow with the My favourites chip.
DeFi products are products where you hold your assets in your own wallet and are responsible for your transactions. You can learn what these products are and how to get started in the What is DeFi article.
Stocks tab
On the Stocks tab, you can track the prices of BIST and US stocks, and by tapping a stock, you can view its price and chart information on the detail screen. Stock trading is not yet available, which is why the tab is shown with a coming soon badge.
If you want to be notified when stock trading becomes available, you can join the waitlist by tapping the Notify me when available button on the stocks screen. We will send you a notification as soon as stocks become tradable.
Screen content
The Markets screen consists of a single view. At the top, you can narrow the list with the category filter and sort control; you can also see featured content such as market sentiment indicators, upcoming listings, and themed categories.
Category filter
By selecting a category from the filter chips on the list header, you can narrow the list:
- My favourites: Crypto assets you have added to favourites (visible when signed in)
- All: All crypto assets listed on Paribu
- TRY: Assets in the Turkish lira pair
- USDT: Assets in the USDT pair
- Fan: Official fan tokens of sports clubs
- Meme: Meme-themed crypto assets
- AI: Projects combining blockchain and AI technologies
Sorting
From the sort control on the list header, you can sort assets within the selected category by three different criteria:
- Popular: Most followed and traded assets
- Gainers: Assets that have risen the most in the last 24 hours
- Losers: Assets that have fallen the most in the last 24 hours
You can swipe an asset row left or right in the list to access quick actions: Buy and Sell shortcuts take you directly to that asset's buy/sell screen; the Alert shortcut opens the alert creation screen.
Upcoming listings
Assets that will soon be listed on Paribu are listed in this section; a live countdown to the listing time is displayed next to each one.
Market sentiment indicators
At the top of the crypto list, there are two indicators that summarise the overall mood of the market:
- 24h trading activity: Shows the buyer and seller distribution of orders placed on Paribu order books in the last 24 hours that have not yet been executed.
- Anxiety & confidence index: Summarises investor sentiment in the crypto market with a value between 0 (extreme anxiety) and 100 (extreme confidence). For details, see the anxiety & confidence index article.
Themed categories
At the bottom of the screen, there are horizontally scrollable categories based on featured crypto asset themes (for example, AI projects, meme tokens, fan tokens). A few preview assets appear in each category; by tapping the See all link, you can list all assets in that category on the detail page.
Asset search
By tapping the search icon at the top of the Markets screen, you can open the asset search feature. The search lists all crypto assets; you can quickly narrow the results by typing the asset's name or symbol (for example, BTC or ETH).
When the search box is empty, two quick access areas appear:
- Recent searches — The assets you have searched for are listed here. When you search for the same asset again, it moves to the top of the list.
- My assets — When you are signed in to your account, the assets in your portfolio appear in this tab; you can navigate directly to the asset details without typing in the search. Your TRY balance is not included in this list.
Favourite assets
By tapping the star icon on any asset's market detail screen, you can add that asset to your favourites. Assets you mark as favourites are collected in the My favourites category on the Markets screen.
Note: By adding the assets you want to follow to your favourites, you can view them in a separate list on the Markets screen, and by enabling the Favourites option in system alerts, you can also receive notifications about notable movements in these assets.
