How do I manage my notification preferences?

June 24, 2026

You can manage which notifications you receive from which channel from the Notification preferences screen on Paribu. Announcements, alarm notifications, order notifications, transfer notifications, and communication preferences are in five separate sub-screens; for each, the email, SMS, and mobile app options can be turned on and off independently.

How do I manage notification preferences on Paribu web?

On Paribu.com, you can manage your notification preferences from the Notification preferences page in the Account menu. Announcement, alarm, order, transfer, and communication notifications are gathered in five separate windows; for each, the email, SMS, and mobile app channels can be turned on and off independently. Changes take effect instantly.

How do I access the notification preferences page?

  1. Log in to your account on Paribu.com
  2. Click the account icon at the top right
  3. Click the Notification preferences item from the menu that opens
  4. Click the one of the five notification categories on the screen that you want to edit

What are the notification categories?

The Notification preferences page contains five categories. Each category opens in its own window and is edited independently via channel toggles:

  • Announcements — Platform announcements for newly listed crypto assets
  • Alarm — Price alarms you created and significant price movements in the market
  • Order notifications — Trigger and matching status of your trading orders
  • Transfer notifications — TRY and crypto asset deposit/withdrawal transactions
  • Communication preferences — Permissions for campaigns, opportunities, and commercial information

How do I edit notification channels?

In each category, turn the toggle next to the channel you want to receive notifications from on or off. Channel options vary by category; announcements only use the mobile app channel, while alarm, order, and transfer notifications offer email, SMS, and mobile app options together.

  1. On the Notification preferences page, click the category you want to edit
  2. In the window that opens, adjust the Email, SMS, or Mobile app toggle in the related section as you prefer
  3. To close the window, click the back icon at the top left

Note: The Mobile app toggle controls the push notifications sent to your devices that have the Paribu app installed. If you turn off this toggle from the web, the related notification will not be sent to your mobile app either.

What should I do if I am not receiving notifications?

If you think you are not receiving notifications, confirm that the related category and channel are on in the Notification preferences page. For email notifications, check the spam or junk folder. For mobile app notifications, check the device with the Paribu app installed and the notification permission in the device settings. If the issue persists, you can contact us by starting a live support chat through Paribu Support.

Frequently asked questions

When does a notification preference change take effect?

Changes take effect instantly; no additional confirmation or saving step is required. When you turn a toggle on or off, your preference is applied at that moment.

If I turn off email notifications, will I stop receiving security-related emails too?

No. Communication preferences only cover commercial messages and information content. Password change warnings, login notifications, transaction confirmations, and legal notices continue to be sent for account security.

Are SMS notifications charged?

No. There is no charge from Paribu for the notification SMS messages sent. SMS reception is subject to your operator's message receiving terms.

What happens to notifications when my phone is off or I do not have internet?

Mobile app notifications are delivered when your device is online. There may be notifications that arrive with delay. You can always view your transaction history from the Account activity page.

Is it possible to receive the same notification through multiple channels?

Yes. For each category, you can keep the email, SMS, and mobile app toggles open together. This way the same notification reaches you through multiple channels.
