How to convert low balances

Small balances may accumulate in your wallet over time; because they fall below the minimum order amount needed for trading, they cannot be traded. Paribu's low balance conversion feature lets you convert these balances to TRY in a single step.

What is low balance conversion?

Low balance conversion lets you bulk-select the crypto assets in your wallet worth 100 TRY and below and convert them to TRY. The screen states it as well: "You can convert your assets worth 100 TRY and below to TRY." It adds balances that are too small to use in trading to your TRY balance with a single confirmation; the conversion target is fixed as TRY.

How are low balances converted?

To convert your low balances on Paribu web, use the low balance option in the heading of the crypto assets section on the Wallet page. In the Convert low balances window that opens, select the assets you want to convert and click the Convert button; the amount is then transferred to your TRY balance.

Before you start

  • You need to have crypto assets in your wallet worth 100 TRY and below
  • You must have completed your account verification

Convert low balances

  1. Open Paribu.com and go to the Wallet page
  2. Click the low balance option in the heading of the crypto assets section
  3. Review the list in the Convert low balances window that opens — each row shows Asset, Balance, and TL value
  4. Select the assets you want to convert; you can select them all at once
  5. Check the Total of selected assets amount at the bottom of the window
  6. Click the Convert button
  7. On the conversion confirmation screen, review the Transaction fee and the approximate amount that will reach your wallet, then confirm

Once the action is complete, the You have converted low balances message appears and states which assets were converted. The same screen shows the Amount transferred to wallet field.

Warning: The confirmation screen warns that "the amount may change according to the market conditions at the moment you confirm." So the amount shown on the confirmation screen is an approximate value.

If you click Convert without selecting any asset, the warning "You must select at least one asset" appears.

Note: If you have no assets to convert, the window shows "You have no crypto assets to convert" and below it "Your crypto assets worth 100 TRY and below will be displayed here."

Which assets appear in the list?

Only crypto assets with a TL value of 100 TRY and below appear in the list. Assets above this threshold are not included; you can convert those to TRY from the regular trading screen.

Warning: Balances in staking or held as blocked under a legal waiting period may not be eligible for conversion. Only your available balances appear in the list.

Transaction fee and the amount that reaches your wallet

A transaction fee is charged for the conversion and is deducted from the total amount converted. You see the net amount that will reach your wallet in the Amount transferred to wallet field on the result screen.

If some assets cannot be converted

Prices can change instantly during conversion. If an asset cannot be converted, the screen states for that asset: "This may be caused by the asset value exceeding the conversion limit due to instant price changes or the conversion support for this asset being temporarily disabled." In that case, the successful assets are converted to TRY and the rest stay in your wallet.

If conversion is temporarily closed, the warning "Please try again later to convert your low balance assets." is shown.

Frequently asked questions

Which balances count as low balances?

Crypto assets with a TL value of 100 TRY and below count as low balances and appear in the conversion list. The threshold is the same for all assets.

Can I convert my low balances to another crypto asset?

No. Low balance conversion only works with TRY as the target; the converted amount is transferred to your TRY balance.

Is the transaction fee charged for each asset separately?

The fee is shown as a single Transaction fee for the whole conversion and is deducted from the total amount. Regardless of how many assets you select, this is the single line on the result screen.

Why do some of my assets not appear in the list?

Only assets with a TL value of 100 TRY and below are included. Balances in staking or held as blocked may also not appear in the list.

What happens if the conversion partly fails?

The successful assets are converted to TRY and transferred to your wallet; those that could not be converted stay in your wallet and continue to appear in the list. You can try again later.

Where can I track the action?

The conversion appears in your history with the Convert to TRY label, and when it is complete, the message "Your conversion has been completed" is shown.
