How to withdraw Bitcoin (BTC)

You can send the Bitcoin (BTC) in your Paribu account to another platform, an independent wallet, or a Paribu user. Bitcoin can only be withdrawn over the Bitcoin network; no memo or tag is required. Transfers to Paribu users are completed free of charge and instantly.

How is Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawn?

To withdraw Bitcoin on Paribu web, click the Bitcoin (BTC) asset on the Wallet page, use the Send button in the window that opens, and enter the withdrawal address. After selecting Bitcoin as the network and entering the amount, confirm the send summary. Once you complete the Travel Rule information entry, your withdrawal starts; you can see the estimated time in the Arrival time field on the Send summary screen.

Before you start

  • You must have completed your account verification
  • Under legal regulations, at least 48 hours must have passed since the purchase or deposit of Bitcoin (72 hours for the first withdrawal)

Withdraw Bitcoin (BTC)

  1. Open Paribu.com and go to the Wallet page
  2. Click the Bitcoin (BTC) asset on the asset list
  3. Click the Send button in the window that opens
  4. Enter or paste the withdrawal address, or click the address book icon in the address field to choose from your saved addresses or recent transactions
  5. Select the Bitcoin network in the Network to send field
  6. Enter the amount you want to send
  7. Check the Send summary screen and complete the Confirm the transfer step
  8. Complete the Travel Rule information entry and confirm the transaction with your authentication method

Warning: Entering the withdrawal address incorrectly or using a different network may result in asset loss. A confirmed withdrawal cannot be cancelled or reversed.

Bitcoin network details

Bitcoin can only be withdrawn over the Bitcoin network. Network details:

  • Network: Bitcoin
  • Arrival time: shown on the Send summary screen; if unknown, it reads "Varies by network"
  • Network withdrawal cost: shown on the screen once you select the network

Note: The withdrawal fee is charged not by Paribu but by the blockchain network. No network fee is applied for transfers to Paribu users.

Important information

  • The Bitcoin withdrawal address can only be used over the Bitcoin network
  • Transfers to Paribu users are completed instantly with no network fee
  • Under legal regulations, withdrawals cannot be made before at least 48 hours have passed since the purchase or deposit of Bitcoin; on the first withdrawal this period is applied as 72 hours
  • The transaction time may vary based on Bitcoin network congestion
  • A confirmed withdrawal cannot be cancelled or reversed
  • You can track the status of your transfer on the blockchain with your TX code
  • Crypto withdrawals cannot be made for 48 hours after a password or email change
