Support Analysis: Incorrect TL deposit


Incorrect TL deposit to Paribu account.


A user contacted our Support Unit and stated that s/he tried to deposit TL funds to his/her Paribu account, but the transfer to the relevant account was not successful. To address this issue, our Support Unit examined the transfer receipt. It was found out that the user had not entered the recipient name, which should have been “Paribu Teknoloji A.Ş.” or “Paribu Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi”.


The bank transfers in which the recipient name is not entered as “Paribu Teknoloji A.Ş.” or “Paribu Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi” are rejected by the bank, and the relevant sum is automatically refunded to the bank account of the user. The refund process takes place within a period determined by the bank.

What should I do?

Make sure that you correctly follow the steps below to deposit TL funds to your Paribu account:

  • Recipient name/title must be either ‘’Paribu Teknoloji A.Ş.’’ or “Paribu Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi”.
  • TL deposit can be made only from personal checking accounts in TL opened in the name of the user.
  • Bank transfers must not be carried out through ATMs (with or without a card).
  • The code displayed on the TL deposit screen, which is the code allocated to the relevant user during bank transactions, must be entered in the description field.
