The first episode of the video series “This is the World of Tomorrow with Yekta Kopan” (Yekta Kopan ile Yarının Dünyası Bu) sponsored by Paribu was broadcasted. The guests of this episode were Mert Fırat and İsmail Hakkı Polat.
In the program hosted by Yekta Kopan, Festtogether event organized under the leadership of Mert Fırat and social responsibility project Need Map (İhtiyaç Haritası), and art and social event forms that changed with the effect of the new normal were discussed. Regarding the topic, Fırat said: “Even after the concerts, theater, and ballet plays are opened for physical visits, we will always keep online events as an option in our minds. This is important for both increasing access and interaction and to maintain the awareness it created for the artists.”
While mentioning blockchain technology and how can “the world of tomorrow” be shaped, İsmail Hakkı Polat said: “One of the biggest issues that the digitalized world brings us is how to build the trust relationship we build physically in the digital world independent of time and place.” He expressed that what ensures this trust relationship is that blockchain is transparent, confidential and well-equipped in terms of cybersecurity.
