IKSV Alt Kat is celebrating April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day with its first Paribu sponsored activity, “1 Fairy Tale, 1 Kite”.
Known for its high quality projects aimed at children and youth, IKSV Alt Kat is initiating its Paribu sponsored activities by telling fairy tales to children and teaching them to make kites.
IKSV Alt Kat was established in 2019 and in a year it has organized a program attended by over 2800 children, young adults, parents, culture professionals and artists. IKSV Alt Kat has organized more than 270 activities and workshops so far, and it is going to carry out new activities sponsored by Paribu.
In a special workshop organized for April 23rd celebrations, fairy tale writer and teller Deniz Soruklu and kite designer Zahit Mungan will come together and meet children. You can follow these activities on April 20th and 21st from IKSV Alt Kat Instagram account.
#Stayhome will be explained to children with fairy tales
Deniz Soruklu wrote “Patient Sabri” for the lock down period and narrated it alive at 17:00 on Monday, April 20th. Children can join in the kite design workshop held by Zahit Mungan from home with their families. The workshop will be broadcast at 17:00 on Tuesday, April 21st. After the workshop, children and their families can tag IKSV Alt Kat Instagram account and share their kite visuals on social media with the hashtag #theskyisforusall.
The broadcast will remain accessible for 24 hours on the Instagram account for children to learn how to make a kite step by step. At the same time, the photos sent by children from all over Turkey will be broadcast on IKSV Alt Kat Instragram account on April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day.
IKSV Alt Kat is continuing its digital activities sponsored by Paribu. On May 1st, there will be a live broadcast and Prof. Dr. Feyza Çorapçı and Deniz Soruklu Evren will talk about children’s and parents’ psychology focusing on the positive effects of artistic activities including story-telling in this period.
