Paribu announced the acquisition of CoinMENA, the largest local crypto exchange in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). With this acquisition, Paribu expands beyond its home market of Türkiye into a region with high crypto adoption. expanded regulatory footprint positions Paribu among a small group of regulated, multi-jurisdiction operators and supports its compliance-driven growth strategy in new markets.
Building the future of SportsFi together: Chiliz partnership
Paribu and Chiliz, a global leader in blockchain solutions for sports and entertainment, formed a strategic partnership to advance SportFi innovation in Türkiye. The collaboration moves the ecosystem into its next phase through the merger of Paribu Net blockchain with Chiliz Chain, strengthening the foundation for Fan Tokens and broader SportFi applications. As part of this transition, PRB token holdings were converted to CHZ, a move that received strong community support and reinforced a unified, community-driven SportFi ecosystem.
Paribu on the global stage: Representing Türkiye worldwide
In 2025, Paribu represented Türkiye at major international events bringing together decision-makers from the crypto asset and financial technology ecosystems. As a partner of Web Summit Qatar 2025, Paribu took part in discussions on the future of finance, with Yasin Oral speaking on the session “Is Paper Money Becoming Extinct?”. In 2025, Paribu Custody expanded its offering beyond storage, as part of its beginning to position itself as a digital asset infrastructure provider. Global staking partnerships with Figment, Kiln, P2P.org, and Everstake were added, while a collaboration with Blockaid further enhanced end-user security.
To share monthly intelligence on digital assets and policy, curated for institutions, the Paribu Custody Newsletter was launched on LinkedIn. By the end of the year, Paribu Custody’s all-time transaction volume exceeded USD 150 billion, with support for 60+ networks, 1,000+ tokens, and more than 57 million transactions facilitated.
Curated side events with leading blockchain native brands
Across the international events it took part in, Paribu hosted curated side events that brought the crypto community together with ecosystem partners such as Odos.xyz, Figment, Chiliz, and Halborn. The year was equally active in terms of asset listings, with new additions such as ASTER, ZORA, RED, KITA, XAUT, MON, XPL, FF, MET, NEAR, PUMP, WLFI, SAHARA, NST, and PEPPER, bringing the total number of listed assets to over 200. Through these updates, Paribu users gained access to in-demand crypto assets in line with global markets.
A new venue for creativity: Paribu Art
In 2025, Paribu opened Paribu Art in Istanbul, introducing a new cultural venue shaped by a long-term commitment to the arts and culture. Adding a new destination to Istanbul’s cultural landscape, Paribu Art hosted a special opening attended by leading figures from the arts and culture scene.
During the event, the world’s highest-resolution fixed-installation outdoor LED screen, spanning approximately 1,250 square meters with 140 million pixels, was unveiled through its first artistic display. Powered by Disguise’s hardware and visual experience software, the opening created a seamless, synchronized flow between the digital surface and live performances through immersive content.
