Paribu undertook the theme sponsorship of “From World Festivals” selection of the 41st Istanbul Film Festival which is organized by Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV) and is Turkey’s largest international film event. Thus, Paribu has become the theme sponsor of the film festival for the third time.
Paribu values culture and arts and undertakes projects to ensure the sustainability of activities in these fields, so it has sponsored “From World Festivals” selection of the 41st Istanbul Film Festival. The festival starts on April 8th with the theme “#a41-year-olddream”.
The festival welcomes its audience from April 8th to April 19th with a rich program that covers the most recent works of the world cinema, cult films, latest films by renowned directors and some new tastes and secret treasures. 135 full-length films and 22 short films by 164 directors from 43 countries will be shown in the festival. The films are grouped under 14 sections and spread over 12 days. In addition to film screenings, the festival hosts talks with the guest directors and actors as well as concerts and special activities.
The films are shown in a total of 7 movie theatres, including Beyoğlu Atlas 1948, Beyoğlu Sineması, Pera Museum Auditorium, Nişantaşı CineWAM Premium+ City’s, Kadıköy Sineması ve Kadıköy Municipality Sinematek/Sinema Evi.

Regarding the festival, Paribu’s CEO, Yasin Oral said: “We are very happy to be the theme sponsor of Istanbul Film Festival this year as we were in the last two years.
