Biography of Yasin Oral
Born in Ankara, Yasin Oral stepped into the world of technology and software during his high school years. In 2001, while still a student, he participated in a competition organized by TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) and contributed to the institution’s web projects during this period.
Yasin Oral’s entrepreneurial journey began during his university years. While studying Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Gazi University, he launched one of the largest digital platforms of its time in 2008, enabling coordination between service providers and clients in the transportation and logistics industry.
After graduating from Gazi University in 2009, Oral founded Matbuu in 2010, Türkiye’s first online printing service offering a digital solution to traditional print needs. In the following years, he strengthened his presence in the technology sector through route visualization and distance calculation projects that reached over 250,000 daily users.
Yasin Oral is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV), the Steering Committee of the Blockchain Turkey Platform (BCTR), and Endeavor Turkey.
