How to deposit Turkish lira (TRY)

To deposit TRY into your Paribu account, you need to make a transfer from your bank account to Paribu's bank account. You can perform your TRY deposits 24/7 through 9 supported banks. The action is free of charge on Paribu's side.

How is TRY deposited?

To deposit TRY on Paribu.com, click the TRY asset on your Wallet page, select the Deposit button in the window that opens, and choose the bank to transfer from. Copy the recipient details on the screen and complete the transfer from your bank's online banking. Transfers made via FAST are reflected in your account within a few minutes.

Deposit TRY

  1. Open Paribu.com and go to the Wallet page
  2. Click the TRY asset
  3. In the window that opens, click the Deposit button
  4. Select the Paribu bank account to transfer to from the Bank account field
  5. Copy the recipient name and IBAN information on the screen
  6. Open your bank's online banking and complete the transfer with the recipient details you copied

Transfers made from banks supporting FAST are typically reflected in your account within a few minutes. Transfers made via EFT are processed only on business days and during business hours; EFT actions made outside business hours are completed on the next business day.

Important information

  • There is no minimum deposit amount. You can deposit any amount you want
  • Transfers from accounts belonging to a different person are not accepted
  • Your transfers within FAST processing limits take place 24/7
  • Your EFT actions outside business hours take place on the next business day
  • Transfers made via ATMs (with or without a card) are not accepted, since the sender details cannot be verified
  • The amount you send is automatically deposited to your account by the system after the checks; you do not need to make any additional notification
  • Transfers in which the recipient name does not contain Paribu Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş. are refunded
  • Transfers made from credit cards, bank branch counters, company accounts, or shared (used by more than one person) bank accounts are refunded

I deposited TRY but it has not appeared in my account, what should I do?

Transfers made via FAST are typically reflected within a few minutes. Transfers made via EFT may take 1-2 business days. If you have exceeded the waiting period, you can review the I deposited TRY but it does not appear in my account article.

Can I deposit TRY from someone else's bank account?

No, you can only transfer from your own bank account that matches the name on your Paribu account. Transfers made from accounts belonging to someone else or from shared accounts are refunded to the sender account within at most 5 business days.

Can I deposit TRY on weekends?

Transfers within FAST processing limits take place 24/7. Additionally, you can deposit 24/7 via wire transfer through Akbank, Ziraat Bankası, VakıfBank, Fibabanka, Yapı Kredi, Şekerbank, İş Bankası, N Kolay, and Türkiye Finans. EFT transfers from banks not on this list and outside FAST limits, made outside business hours, take place on the next business day.

Can I deposit TRY by credit card?

No, transfers made by credit card are not accepted because they arrive without IBAN information and are refunded to your credit card. Banks usually complete the refund within 24 hours.
