How to deposit Turkish lira (TRY)

To deposit Turkish lira (TRY) into your Paribu account, you make a transfer from your own bank account to Paribu's bank account. The recipient details change depending on the bank you select; you copy the recipient name and IBAN shown on the screen and send the transfer from your bank. The action is free of charge on Paribu's side.

How is TRY deposited?

To deposit TRY on Paribu.com, click the TL row on your Wallet page, use the Deposit button in the window that opens, and select the bank you will transfer from. The recipient name and IBAN for that bank appear on the screen; you copy these details and complete the transfer from your bank's app. Transfers within FAST limits are reflected in your account within a few minutes.

• You must make the transfer from a bank account registered in your own name

Deposit Turkish lira

1. Open Paribu.com and go to the Wallet page
2. Click the TL row
3. Click the Deposit button in the window that opens
4. Select the bank you will transfer from in the bank selection field
5. Copy the recipient name and IBAN for the bank you selected using the copy icon
6. Open your bank's app or internet banking and complete the transfer with the details you copied

Warning: The recipient name and IBAN change depending on the bank you select. Copy the details from the screen again before every transfer; do not save an old IBAN and reuse it.

The recipient name must always be Paribu Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş. Transfers that do not include this name as the recipient are refunded.

Note: Paribu does not charge a fee for TRY deposits. Your bank may apply a separate fee for the transfer.

You can also transfer from a bank that is not on the list — in that case, your transfer is processed 24/7 if it is within FAST limits, and as an EFT during business hours if it is outside FAST limits.

Transfers within FAST transaction limits are processed 24/7. EFT transactions you make outside business hours are processed on the next business day. The FAST transaction limit is set by your bank.

• Transfers from accounts that are not in your name are not accepted
• There is no minimum deposit amount; you can deposit any amount you want
• Your transfers within FAST transaction limits are processed 24/7
• Your EFT transactions made outside business hours are processed on the next business day
• Transfers made via ATM (with or without a card) are not accepted as sender information cannot be verified
• The amount you send is added to your account automatically by the system after the checks; no further action is required
• Transfers that do not include Paribu Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş. as the recipient name are refunded
• Transfers made via credit cards, bank branch counters, corporate or joint accounts, time deposit accounts, or foreign currency accounts are not processed and are refunded

Can I deposit TRY from someone else's bank account?

No, you can only transfer from your own bank account that matches the name on your Paribu account. Transfers from accounts that are not in your name are not accepted and are refunded to the sending account.

Can I deposit TRY at the weekend?

Yes. Your transfers within FAST transaction limits are processed 24/7. Amounts exceeding FAST limits are processed as an EFT; EFT transactions you make outside business hours are completed on the next business day.

Can I deposit TRY by credit card?

No. Transfers made via credit cards, bank branch counters, corporate or joint accounts, time deposit accounts, or foreign currency accounts are not processed and are refunded.

How is TRY deposited?

To deposit TRY in the Paribu app, tap the Deposit button on the Wallet tab and select Deposit TRY. On the Deposit TRY screen that opens, choose the bank you want to transfer from, copy the recipient name and IBAN details, and complete the transfer from your bank app. Transfers made via FAST are reflected in your account within a few minutes.

1. Tap the Deposit button on the Wallet tab and select Deposit TRY on the screen that opens
2. Select the bank you want to transfer from on the Deposit TRY screen
3. Tap the recipient name and IBAN rows shown on the screen to copy the details
4. Open your bank app and complete the transfer with the details you copied

The recipient name always appears as Paribu Kripto Varlık Alım Satım Platformu A.Ş. The IBAN is shown on the screen based on the bank you select; use the current IBAN displayed on the screen when making the transfer.

Note: You can switch directly to the selected bank's app by tapping the Deposit from bank app button at the bottom of the screen. If the bank app is not installed on your device, you are redirected to the app store

You can also review all transfer rules on the Important information screen, which opens when you tap the info icon in the top right corner of the screen. Paribu does not charge a fee for the TRY deposit; your bank may apply additional charges for the transfer.

Transfers made from banks supporting FAST are typically reflected in your account within a few minutes. Transfers made via EFT are processed only on business days and during business hours; EFT actions made outside business hours are completed on the next business day.

Which account can you deposit TRY from?

Every TRY transfer you make to Paribu must come from a demand TRY account in your own name that matches the full name on your Paribu account. This rule is not limited to your first deposit; it applies to all of your later deposits as well.

Accepted:

• Transfers via FAST or EFT/wire from a demand TRY account in your own name

Not accepted — this applies to every deposit, and the transfer is refunded:

• ATM card/cardless deposits
• Credit card transfers
• Shared accounts (joint accounts used by more than one person) or transfers from someone else's account
• Company accounts or transfers made at bank branch counters

The first TRY deposit that opens your account

By regulation, after your identity verification is complete you must perform at least one TRY deposit from a bank account in your own name before financial operations (TRY/crypto trading and withdrawals) are enabled. It is this check that is one-time; once you complete it, your account opens up to all operations. The transfer rules above continue to apply to every deposit.

Transfers made via FAST are typically reflected within a few minutes. Transfers made via EFT may take 1-2 business days. If you have exceeded the waiting period, you can review the I deposited TRY but it does not appear in my account article.

Can I deposit TRY from someone else's bank account?

No, you can only transfer from your own bank account that matches the name on your Paribu account. Transfers made from accounts belonging to someone else or from shared accounts are refunded to the sender account within at most 5 business days.

Can I deposit TRY on weekends?

Transfers within FAST processing limits take place 24/7. Additionally, you can deposit 24/7 via wire transfer through Akbank, Ziraat Bankası, VakıfBank, Fibabanka, Yapı Kredi, Şekerbank, İş Bankası, N Kolay, and Türkiye Finans. EFT transfers from banks not on this list and outside FAST limits, made outside business hours, take place on the next business day.

Can I deposit TRY by credit card?

No, transfers made by credit card are not accepted because they arrive without IBAN information and are refunded to your credit card. Banks usually complete the refund within 24 hours.
