("Paribu" or the "Company"), process your personal data on our website at www.paribu.com ("Website" or "Site") through online tracking technologies such as cookies, web beacons, local storage and pixel tags (all of which will be referred to as "Cookies") that are necessary for the operation of a website and the fulfilment of our legal obligations, and additionally — provided that you give your explicit consent — cookies used to improve your experience, develop our services and provide personalisation. 1. What is a Cookie and What Does It Do?

As Paribu, we use two types of cookies according to their duration. These are: Session Cookies and Persistent Cookies.
2.1.1. Session Cookies: These cookies, also referred to as Temporary Cookies, are used for the purpose of ensuring the continuity of the session. When you close your internet browser, these cookies are also deleted automatically (for example; Session Cookies are used to determine that you are visiting Paribu for the first time).
2.1.2. Persistent Cookies: These cookies, which are not deleted automatically when the internet browser is closed, are deleted automatically on a specific date or after a specific period (for example; Persistent Cookies are used so that you do not have to enter your login information again every time you log in to your account using our website).
2.2. Cookies According to Their Parties
Whether a cookie is a first-party or a third-party cookie depends on the cookie placed by the website or domain.

2.3.2. Functional Cookies: These cookies allow our website to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. Functional cookies allow our users to remember their preferences on our website, including username, language and region, and the choices they make through our site. 3. Purposes for Which Cookies Are Used by Paribu and Legal Bases
- Mandatory Cookies (Strictly Necessary Cookies) are used for the purpose of being able to provide an information society service that you have requested (such as logging in, filling in forms and remembering privacy preferences). Personal data collected through these cookies is processed under sub-paragraph (c) of paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law, namely "the processing of personal data of the parties to a contract being necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract", or under sub-paragraph (f), namely "the processing of data being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject".
- Functional Cookies are used for the purposes of making our website more functional and personalised (ensuring that your other preferences, with the exception of your privacy preferences, are remembered when you return to the site). Personal data collected through these cookies is processed, in cases where the provision of the information society service has not been expressly requested, under paragraph 1 of Article 5 of the Law, where you give your explicit consent. In cases where the provision of the information society service has been expressly requested, it is processed on the basis of the legal ground in sub-paragraph (f) of paragraph 2 of Article 5 of the Law — that the processing of data is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
- Targeting/Marketing Cookies are used by our advertising partners for the purpose of profiling you according to your interests and showing you relevant advertisements. Personal data collected through these cookies is processed under paragraph 1 of Article 5 of the Law where you give your explicit consent.
4. Transfer of Processed Personal Data
Your personal data is shared by Paribu, in order to achieve the purposes set out above, with service provider companies and our business partners located domestically and abroad, within the scope of the data processing conditions regulated in Article 5 of the Law and in accordance with the rules on the transfer of personal data set out in Articles 8 and 9 of the Law.
5. Management of Cookie Use
As Paribu, we would like to state that you can personalise cookies as you wish through the cookie management panel that you can access via the "Cookie Preferences" button at the bottom of the homepage of our website at www.paribu.com. However, internet browsers generally accept cookies automatically. The use of cookies is not mandatory in order to use our website; however, we recommend the use of cookies in order not to reduce the quality of your user experience and so that the various functions of the pages of our website do not become impaired. In particular, Mandatory Cookies enable our website to perform its basic functions. If you prevent the use of these cookies, some functions of our website may technically not work.

Within the scope of Article 11 of the Law, "regulating the rights of the data subject", you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

- To request information regarding personal data if it has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing of personal data and whether they are used in line with their purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request the correction of personal data in the event that they have been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
- To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,
- To request that operations carried out within the scope of correction, deletion or destruction of personal data be notified to the third parties to whom the personal data has been transferred,
- To object to the emergence of a result against the data subject as a result of the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- To request compensation for damages in the event of suffering damage due to personal data being processed contrary to the law.
To exercise your rights within the scope of this article, please choose one of the following methods, fill in the Application Form Regarding Personal Data on our website at www.paribu.com, and, in accordance with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Application to the Data Controller, send it to us;
