How do I manage my profile and personal information?

August 24, 2026

You can view your personal information on the Personal information page of the website. Changing this information, however, is not done on the web: e-mail, phone number and profile photo updates are completed in the Paribu mobile app, with identity verification.

How do I reach the Personal information page?

  1. Open Paribu.com and sign in to your account
  2. Click the profile icon in the top right

Clicking the profile icon takes you straight to the Personal information page. Alternatively you can hover over the icon and click your user card in the menu that opens.

What information is on the page?

The page lists three details: Name surname, Email and Phone.

Warning: These three details cannot be changed on the website. When you try to edit them, an Update from the app prompt appears with an Update in the app button; on desktop a QR code you can scan with your phone is also shown

The page explains it for e-mail itself: for your security, you can only update your email address from the Paribu app by verifying your identity.

The page also offers a support route; you can have your details updated through support or by calling us.

How do I change my e-mail address?

The e-mail change is made in the Paribu mobile app. After verifying your identity in the app, you define your new address. The result of the change applies on the website as well.

Warning: When you change your e-mail address, crypto asset withdrawals are paused for 48 hours for your security. This rule applies regardless of which platform you made the change on

Make sure you have access to your new e-mail address; do not enter an address you do not use.

How do I change my phone number and profile photo?

Your phone number and profile photo are also updated only in the Paribu mobile app. The website does not have an editing surface for these fields.

Why can my name not be changed?

Your name is tied to the official identity document you presented during account verification. A change therefore requires an identity document check and is handled through a process run by Paribu Support. You can send your request through the live support chat.

Nationality, address and identity document details

These details are part of identity verification and are neither displayed nor edited on the website. All identity verification is done in the mobile app; the website only shows your verification status.

Things to know

Frequently asked questions

Can I change my e-mail address on the website?

No. For security reasons the e-mail change is made only in the Paribu mobile app, with identity verification. When you try to edit it on the website, you are directed to the app.

How do I sign in after changing my e-mail address?

Once the change is complete, your new e-mail address becomes your sign-in detail. Your password does not change.

Why can I not withdraw crypto for 48 hours?

After an e-mail address change, crypto asset withdrawals are paused for 48 hours for your security. This period prevents assets from being moved out quickly in the event of unauthorised access to your account. Withdrawals open again by themselves at the end of the period.

How do I change my name?

Because your name is tied to your identity document, you cannot change it yourself. You can start the live support chat through Paribu Support to send your request; the process requires an identity document check.

I cannot access my phone number — what should I do?

If you no longer have access to your old number, you can verify your identity and update the number through the "I cannot access my contact details" option in the password reset flow of the Paribu mobile app.
