You can freeze your Paribu account at any time. Account freeze is a security feature used when you want to temporarily close access to your account. You initiate the freeze; however, reactivating the account is only done through Paribu Support and you may be asked for some documents.
Note: If you want to take a temporary break from crypto asset markets, account freeze is a suitable option. If you are no longer planning to use your account, you can consider the account closure option.
When your account freeze request is approved, the following actions take place at the same time:
Warning: After the account freeze, you cannot reopen the account yourself. Reactivation is only possible by contacting Paribu Support and submitting the required documents.
To freeze your account on Paribu.com, click the account icon in the top right corner, go to the Security settings page, and click the Freeze account item. When you choose your freeze reason in the window that opens and click the Continue button, a confirmation window is shown. Once approved, an information email is sent to your registered email address.
Note: If you have open orders, those orders are listed in the confirmation window and the information that they will be cancelled together with the freeze is shown. When you click the Freeze account button, the open orders are cancelled and the account freeze is completed.
To reactivate the account you froze, you need to contact Paribu Support. The support team may request some documents to verify your identity.
Note: To speed up your reactivation request, it is recommended to have your full name, Turkish ID number, and the email address associated with your account ready.
