As it does every year, Paribu is once again celebrating the first-ever purchase made using Bitcoin with its users.
All Paribu users who have purchased at least 1,000 TL worth of Bitcoin in the last 30 days and have completed the current KYC process are eligible for the campaign. Eligible users can receive one of 100,000 promo codes, each worth 350 TL, to use for pizza orders on Yemeksepeti.
What is Paribu Pizza Day?
In 2010, computer programmer Laszlo Hanyecz made history by using Bitcoin as a payment method for the very first time. He purchased two pizzas in exchange for 10,000 Bitcoins, marking the first-ever documented transaction with Bitcoin.
Paribu has celebrated this historic milestone each year through its #ParibuPizzaDay campaigns. Recognizing this moment as a key turning point in the history of Bitcoin and crypto assets, Paribu has embraced it under the name Paribu Pizza Day.
Every year during the week of May 22, Paribu users enjoy tens of thousands of free pizzas as part of the celebration.
