The second facility under the Sports Facilities in Disaster Areas Project has been officially opened in Kahramanmaraş.
Established in 2021 to foster sports culture in Türkiye, Team Paribu is carrying forward its “Team Paribu by Your Side” project in collaboration with İhtiyaç Haritası (Needs Map), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting communities in need through social impact initiatives. The project organizes activities for children and youth affected by the February 6 earthquakes.
Team Paribu opened a second sports facility in Kahramanmaraş to support the “recovery through sports” of children and youth in the earthquake region, following the one in Hatay. The opening ceremony took place on September 22, with the participation of Paribu’s Founding CEO Yasin Oral, Team Paribu athletes Eda Erdem and Nafia Kuş, and Esra Arslan, Board Member at İhtiyaç Haritası.
Children and youth get the chance to participate in sports regularly
Nearly 250 children and youth, aged 6 to 18, will have the opportunity to participate in sports activities, receiving expert guidance from their coaches. They will have the chance to discover and cultivate their newly found talents. In the coming period, Team Paribu athletes will maintain their visits to the region.

Yasin Oral shared his thoughts on the second sports facility, opened in collaboration with Team Paribu and Needs Map: “One and a half years after the earthquake, Paribu remains committed to addressing the needs of the people in various areas of the region. As part of the “Team Paribu by Your Side” project, a collaboration between Team Paribu and Needs Map, we are proud to inaugurate our second sports facility in Kahramanmaraş, following the one in Hatay. We will continue to stand by the earthquake-stricken regions, supporting their needs in the future.”
